Immortal Romance - a Short Story

How did Sarah, Michael, Amber and Troy, the stars of the Immortal Romance slot, meet? Well, Microgaming and Games Global have never gone into the detailed history of the characters, but we thought it would fun to dream up a short story to fully explain the back story. So, here you go!

Sarah, Michael, Amber and Troy : a Short Story

Sarah was a young woman who had just moved to Providence, Rhode Island to start her new job as a Doctor of Pathology at Brown University. She was excited to begin this new chapter in her life, but she couldn’t shake the feeling of loneliness that seemed to follow her wherever she went. One day, while browsing the shelves at the John Hay Library, Sarah heard a voice behind her.

“Excuse me, miss, but do you happen to know where I can find the section on ancient mythology?” the voice asked.

Sarah turned around to see a handsome man standing before her. He had piercing eyes and auburn hair matching her own, and Sarah couldn’t help but feel a flutter in her chest as she looked at him.

“I’m sorry, I’m not sure,” Sarah stammered, feeling flustered. “I just started working here, so I’m still getting used to the layout.”

The man chuckled and ran a hand through his hair. “Ah, I see. Well, no worries. I’m Michael, by the way.”

The Romance Begins

Sarah introduced herself and the two of them struck up a conversation about their interests in mythology. As it turned out, they both had a passion for ancient cultures and stories of gods and monsters. They ended up spending the entire day talking and getting to know each other, and before they knew it, it was closing time at the library.

As they walked out together, Michael asked Sarah if she wanted to grab a drink with him. Sarah hesitated for a moment, wondering if it was a good idea to go out with someone she had just met. But something about Michael made her feel comfortable and safe, and she found herself agreeing to his invitation.

The two of them ended up at a cozy little bar called the Walnut Room, where they sipped on cocktails and talked well into the night. Sarah felt a strong connection with Michael, and as the night went on, she couldn’t deny the feelings of attraction that were growing inside her.

As they walked home together, Michael took Sarah’s hand in his and looked into her eyes. “I know this might sound crazy, but I feel like I’ve known you for years,” he said. “I can’t explain it, but I just have this strong feeling that we’re meant to be together.”

Sarah felt the same way, and as they stood there on the sidewalk, gazing into each other’s eyes, they both knew that they had found something special. They shared their first kiss under the stars, and Sarah knew that she had found the love of her life.

As the weeks turned into months, Sarah and Michael’s relationship only grew stronger. They were inseparable, and it seemed like nothing could come between them.

The Plot Thickens

But as with all good things, there were a few bumps along the road in their quest for happiness. One day, Sarah received a call from her best friend, Amber, who was in a state of panic. Amber had gotten herself into some trouble with a group of shady characters, and she needed Sarah’s help to get out of it.

Sarah knew that she had to do whatever it took to protect her friend, so she asked Michael to come with her to help. He agreed without hesitation, and the two of them set out to rescue Amber from the clutches of danger.

When they arrived at the location where Amber was being held, they found themselves confronted by a group of heavily armed men. Michael tried to reason with them, but it was clear that they were not interested in negotiating.

As the situation grew more and more tense, a man named Troy stepped forward. He was the leader of the group, and he seemed to take a liking to Sarah and Michael. He offered them a deal: if they could complete a challenge for him, they would release Amber. Michael and Troy stared at each other. Sarah thought that she saw a flicker of recognition between the two men, but quickly dismissed the thought as they continued to eyeball each other.

Play the Game

Troy explained that they would need to immerse themselves in a game and play Immortal Romance to save their friend. All would be explained when they began playing, but essentially they would need to enter something called the Chamber of Spins and search for the Vampire Bats Feature to save Amber.

Sarah took out her phone, loaded the game up and was immediately drawn in by the mysterious and alluring slot that featured herself, Michael, Amber and Troy. “How was that possible?”, she wondered. She felt her heartbeat quiken as she felt the game draw her into another reality.

As Sarah played the game, she became more and more immersed in the world of the immortal beings. She couldn’t get enough of the drama and romance between the four main characters: Amber, Troy, Michael and of course, Sarah herself.

In the Game

Michael was a powerful vampire, with piercing green eyes and a magnetic presence. He was deeply in love with Sarah, and would do anything to protect her. Amber was a seductive witch with a wicked sense of humour. She was always causing trouble, but deep down she had a heart of gold.

Troy, on the other hand, was a bit of a wild card. He was a werewolf with a rebellious streak, and he often found himself at odds with the other characters. Despite their differences, Sarah knew that she could always count on Troy to have her back in a pinch. He was deeply loyal to Michael in the game and very protective of his friends.

As Sarah continued to play the game, she found herself falling deeper and deeper in love with the characters. She couldn’t help but wonder if the game was more real then life itself.

The Mansion in Providence. In the game or out of it?

As she continued to play, Sarah felt herself being sucked into a parallel dimension and found herself at the mysterious mansion where the Immortal Romance slot game was set.

Sarah was greeted by the characters in the game and she began to lose her bearings. Was this a dream? Or was this actually happening? Michael swept her up in his arms and whispered sweet nothings in her ear, while Amber playfully teased her and Troy grinned mischievously.

Sarah was in heaven, and she knew that she had finally found the love and adventure she had always been searching for. She set about exploring the mansion and getting to know the characters even better.

At night, Sarah would curl up in front of the fireplace with Michael, while Amber and Troy told ghost stories and played pranks on each other. It was the happiest time of Sarah’s life, and she knew that she never wanted it to end.

Lovestruck

As the days passed, Sarah began to realize that she had fallen deeply in love with Michael. She couldn’t imagine her life without him, and she knew that he felt the same way about her.

One night, as they sat out on the balcony gazing up at the stars, Michael took Sarah’s hand and looked into her eyes. “I know we’ve only known each other for a short time,” he said, “but I love you more than anything in this world. Will you be my immortal bride?”

Sarah couldn’t believe her ears. She had always dreamed of finding her soulmate, and now here he was, asking her to spend eternity by his side. She threw her arms around Michael’s neck and whispered, “Yes, I will be your immortal bride.”

As they embraced, the stars above seemed to twinkle brighter than ever before. Sarah knew that she had finally found her happily ever after, and she couldn’t wait to spend the rest of her immortal life with Michael by her side.

Sarah and Michael were married in a beautiful ceremony at the mansion, surrounded by all of their friends. Amber was the maid of honor, while Troy served as the best man.

The Wedding

As they exchanged vows, Sarah couldn’t help but feel grateful for the twist of fate that had brought her to this magical place. She had always been drawn to the supernatural, and now she was living the life of her dreams.

After the wedding, Sarah and Michael settled into their new life together. They spent their days exploring the mansion and the surrounding countryside, taking long walks through the gardens and enjoying each other’s company.

As the years passed, Sarah and Michael remained as deeply in love as ever. They spent their days playing games and reading books, and at night they would curl up in front of the fireplace and tell each other stories.

Despite the fact that they were both immortal, Sarah and Michael knew that they couldn’t stay in the mansion forever. Eventually, they decided to venture out of the game and into the world to see what adventures awaited them.

Together, they traveled to far-off lands and experienced all sorts of incredible things. They climbed mountains, swam in the ocean, and visited ancient temples. Everywhere they went, they were greeted with kindness and curiosity.

After many years of adventure, Sarah and Michael returned to the mansion, ready to settle down and spend the rest of their immortal lives together. They were welcomed back with open arms by Amber and Troy, who were now old friends.

As they sat together in the living room, surrounded by all of the memories they had made over the years, Sarah knew that she had found her true home. She was happy and content, and she knew that she would always be loved by Michael, Amber, and Troy.

Sarah smiled to herself, feeling grateful for the wonderful life she had been given. She knew that she was lucky to have found such amazing friends and to have experienced all of the love and adventure that the Immortal Romance slot game had brought into her life. And she knew that, as long as they were together, they would always have each other to lean on and to share the journey with.
